Your mounting hardware has been inspected and checked at our facilities,
it should consist of:
- 10 Polygon Edge
Clips
- 10 Stainless
Steel Washers
- 8 Short Stainless
Steel Screws
- 2 Long Stainless
Steel Screws
- 2 Molybdenum
Spacers
Legacy owners with
non-logoed mud flaps please note- The sides facing the tires have a
different finish to them while the opposite side (facing the reverse
of the vehicle) has a grainier automotive type finish upon inspection.
Please install in this manner
Rear Flaps:
Place two polygon edge clips over the two holes in the rear bumper:
Place flap over
clips and line up holes. Place a short screw and washer inside of the
2 holes and thread until snug, but still allows you to move the flap
to adjust.
A 90 degree screwdriver will allow you to bolt flaps without removing
the tire.
Adjust flaps until
bottom of flap is parallel to tire, and side of flap is vertical.
Note: The
hardware is quite strong and self threading but over-tightening the
clips beyond their limit is not recommended on any of the hardware.
Front
Turn wheel in order
to gain access to fender liner clips. Remove the three liner clips as
shown:
Pull liner back slowly in order to gain access to inside mounting points.
Place 3 clips over each of the mounting holes. Note clip # 2 is inserted
between side skirt and vehicle mounting point:
Place liner back
like before over the clips. Place front flap over liner, and hand thread
a short bolt and washer over holes 1, 2. For hole number 3- place one
of the spacers behind the flap- then thread the long screw through the
complete assembly. Leave everything slightly loose in order to adjust
the flap like the rear.
Adjust flaps until they are vertical and parallel with tire- then bolt
down until snug.
Note: The
hardware is quite strong and self threading but over-tightening the
clips beyond their limit is not recommended on any of the hardware
Do the same for the other side, and enjoy!
